BeforeAging is hard. Aging with illness is overwhelming. It requires compassion to the nth degree. The word compassion come from the old french ecclesiastical word compati which means to “suffer with”. A&B Lifestyles makes sure we approach every project and problem with the utmost of compassion. We understand at least that whatever your issue is, we know that it interferes with how you want to live your best life. Whether you share your story or keep it private, it matters not to us. This client, needed some straightening up and systems to be put in place while she dealt with her illness. While sorting her belongings, we found this unfinished project. “oh my!”, she exclaimed,”I was making that for my son when he was young and now he is a grandfather!”. We all have those projects that we start and don’t finish. we were heartbroken about this and did not want to just throw away the project.

Through a community organization called Buy Nothing, we found someone to finish this project merely out of the goodness of her heart. Yes, for free. Compassion even reaches beyond what we can do.
The day came to present her little Scottie dog made out of the family tartan. “ God is Love!” she exclaimed. Indeed dear client. Indeed.
